JV-2080 interface... I'm floored

Post by Alex E » Thu May 20, 2010 7:16 am

I really disliked trying to program the JV-1080, and that's one of the reasons why I never used it and sold it. I'm not a fan of using presets and without a software editor it was a pain to edit.

But the JV-2080 was given the JD-990 interface, which is already well known for easy editing. And seriously, it really is. Everything I need to see is there, the F1, F2, (etc...) buttons make everything fast and easy, and the OS looks very clean. This has got to be the nicest interface on a digital synth I've ever used. People don't give this machine enough credit for this IMO.
