Ding ding. Spot on, a 5 Voice MK-III Obsx. Even has the CV/Gate in and out.

Found in Kalamazoo at a local, very small consignment shop. Also had a Oberheim XK-1 that was with it, but I didn't need it. Guy said it came out of a studio in Chicago, which was backed up by the fact that there is a M.R. Engineering of Chicago service tag on the bottom.

The little Obie logo in the top right corner gave it away. :)

Congrats on the find!

If you seen an Obie inside before you don't need that logo to recognise it

Nice find! Congrats

Nice. It has the expanded memory and the "computer interface" for talking to other Obie gear.

I spotted a nice OB-Xa 8-voice in town, but for some reason I can't get the guy to take $100 for it. Maybe I should offer him $200?

Anyone know how many were made? I don't think I've ever seen one in a keyboard rig.

How does "Jump" sound when played on it?

This is a serious question.
