Programming tutorials?
I'm after some easy, straight to the point programming tutorials, got any? I prefer turotials without too much explaining what this and that parameter actually does. But all tips are welcomed

You know, if you actually type in the words "how to program analog synthesizers" (assuming that's the type of synth you want programming info about) and do a Google search - you'd be surprised at what you'd find. Really - just try it. I did and found several pages that would suit your needs.

I totally agree - the synth secrets articles really will help.Sir Nose wrote:the sound on sound articles on synthesis are fantastic

Re: Programming tutorials?
Not so sure on Sos articles as a good place to start. I haven't read most, but I remember reading some of them and thinking they are a bunch of mathimatical explanations. Might have been the particular article, but they seemed a little more advanced on the topics.
Here's a good read on synthesis in general:

Re: Programming tutorials?
Because I think I'll understand more or less from hearing the results. Knowing the exact details of what's happening can be nice, but I really don't have the time at the moment. So straight to point tutorials are what I'm after.Stab Frenzy wrote: You want tutorials that don't explain anything? Why?
Thanks for all the suggestions so far, btw!
Re: Programming tutorials?
Emu makes good manuals. The general programming section at the back of any of the sound module manuals from here should give you a good start.

Access music had a good programming manual at their site too. Specific examples are for the Virus, but the general principles apply to any synth.
