Shipping Keyboards and other big, heavy things

Howdy, I'm about to dump a few unused boards on ebay. I've never shipped anything that large before, what advise do you guys have for shipping a big keyboard? I've got a DX7IIfd, an Elka Rhapsody and an old Sony reel-to-reel that weighs about 130#s.

Also, who to ship through? USPS, UPS, FedEx, freight? Any other questions I should ask?

I'm open to all advice. I don't want my stuff to arrive exactly how I send it. Thanks in advance!!!

AW s**t!

There are plenty of great threads on this if you'd learn how to search!

Nah, just my night ;)
I tried "shipping" too, the keyword was "packing". It seems obvious, but we both did the same thing.
