Nice! Novamusik regular price is $230 USD. I have to say that price hits the nail right on the head. Surprised to hear also that the Monotribe enclosure is metal. Glad Korg is continuing the (Electribe) tradition that way.

EXCITED
just preordered
I plan on adding an FX loop on the output so I can inline my mini-kaosspad before the amp/speaker, and whatever drum tweaks come out eventually
EDIT: IMPORTANT INFO FOR GETTING PREORDER PRICE FROM NOVA:
I just went and preordered and the price was to be $229 during checkout. I emailed them after preordering and they told me that to get the preorder price you must add in the comments section of your order a request for the $208 preorder price. He happily adjusted my order so I'd get that price, but heads up! Make a note in the comment requesting the preorder price!

RD9: "for some reason I feel like $225 is the limit for something like this personally for me. I wouldn't have second thoughts spending around $2000 for an updated MS-20 with modern day features like MIDI etc, or a Dotcom Portable-22 for $2550. So at least for me, it's not a linear response to price points. I'm totally willing to pay extra bucks for something if it fits my needs since developing analog this day and age can't be taken for granted. I can't speak for others, but my price limit for the Monotribe is dictated by its specific features."
and
"$200-225 USD max for me"
Should RD9 be banned if he
doesn't buy one?

According to the good buyer and rentable purchasing manual, section related to buy synthesizers, he should receive a punishment, equal to the damage done for not buying the product offered by Korg with such features, at the specified price range of $210-$230, wich could satisfy his needs.

Hahaha $5? Are you actually that literal in real life or just trolling? Seriously.
MSRP is $320. That's the real price which is way beyond $225. Not only is $230 surprising for a metal enclosure (which I didn't know it had before), but it's probably as low as the price can get on initial release. That's $90 off. If you think that $5 has any bearing on the point that I was trying to make, you've missed the point entirely.

I believe it's 16 steps for the rhythm sequence only, and they're twice as fast as the steps for the synth part - 16th notes vs 8th notes, if you want to look at it that way.
Monotribe Manual pg 15 wrote:If you turn on a step button while holding down a part button, the part will sound half way through the step. This applies to each of the 8 step buttons, effectively providing 16 steps for the rhythm sequence.

I fear making this post because it can devolve tragically fast, but MSRP is NEVER actual price/value for larger manufacturers...
and yes, I am sure someone can support the fact that this sweeping generalization has some fallacies to it, but I think we can agree if someone went into a big box store, 10% would be at or near MSRP, and the other 90% would be there with "priceslasher ultra über double down extravaganza sale" price...otherwise known as "street price"...

Point was pretty clear. You asked, begged, argued and whined.
You have your dream product in front of you -- and from
KORG to boot.
You wince at the price.
At $320 it's still the real deal. Yet, it's cheaper than expected and you just said; sturdier than expected....
And so....
YOU GONNA BUY ONE?!!!!!!
Unless of course there is some feature you stater previously as a major need that it's missing...
Missing that point could explain why your beer goggles are only half full.
Had a wee bit, sir?
Seriously, answer the question. I haven't seen you exalt KORG and declare your love for this piece yet.
I simply wont feel right till I see a studio pic with the Monotribe front and center.

What exactly was the point you were trying to make?
If you think your point has failed to get across, why do you think that happened?
