Sell them all and buy a drum kit.

Yeah, selling them might not be such a stupid move - then buy an iPad and pick up some of the killer apps for it, such as iMS-20, iElectribe, Beat Creator 2, NanoSynth & more.... Add a Kaoss Pad and a midi-keyboard and you have a killer little setup :)

Ah. That sucks. Hey dude, seriously though, like space6oy said, the way you start a new line for each new phrase makes your posts very difficult to read and it's kind of confusing. Just try normal sentences. Not every post and PM has to look like a haiku, and end with an ellipses ok? Give your enter key a break. :)

Yeap. I can´t criticize since my post are also difficult to read, but it´s not intentional.... ;)

You should use a sequencer as a heart of your setup. software or hardware:

Boss and Electribe are both samplers with a different way to treat samplers and increase your sound palette with anything you want to sample. With the novation station you have a decent sound module and twekeable. With the K2000 (kurzeweil right) you have expressivenes.

Focus your creativity over a sequencer, controlling with MIDI several tracks. Assign tracks to trigger samples. Others to activate sounds from the Novation, and, why not, K2000´s keyboard could be used to play them.
Your setup is enough to make interesting music, if you assign to each one ot the synths, the task they can do best.
with the sequencer controlling everything, is easier to visualize a track, and built it with all the synths.

"we need an 808 cowbell, but we don't have an 808!"

"ok, get me:
a hairpin
a glass half filled with water
a nailgun
a nailfile
some ductape,...and a sampler..."

This looks like a psychotropic reaction. No wonder it's so popular...

I dont mind the splitting up the sentences, but I for one cant seem to understand what you want us to do here? tell you what to do with your gear? suggest new ways to use them? tell you what we all use ourselves? How we'd use your gear? its all a bit confusing and that makes it very hard to answer your post..

why dont you tell us how everything is connected/set up so that we get a better idea of things you might do differently? I know you say you rarely use them, so lets be experimental! Sample whatever i to your ES-1. then resample that with new effects, maybe run stuff through your "choice fx processors" and sample again. If you still dont find any use for the gear (like you've suggested by saying "im not using any of these together sometimes i rarely use them at all") I see no reason in the world to keep them, I'd suggest sell it all and buy ONE piece of choice kit and get busy with that. for example, you can sell the Dr202 and Es-1 and buy an ESX, which is a logical next step from the ES.

also, it might be helpful to tell us if you have any other gear too, what kind of music you make/want to make etc

cheers
