Re: SubCon synth
Does anyone know the history and current status of Plan B?
I'd like to learn more about this company and its products.
I found http://www.ear-group.net. There's also a Yahoo group. I haven't seen anything since 2009 about them.

Re: SubCon synth
They redesigned it to use SMT? That must have been a ton of work. Or was the original SMT? I didn't think it was, but I've never actually seen one.
Switches, knobs, buttons, LEDs, LCD screens, monitors, keys, mice, jacks, sockets. Now two joysticks!

Re: SubCon synth
Not really, you could just keep the layout and have more space between the components, or scale the whole board down. Much much less work than laying out the board in the first place.cornutt wrote:They redesigned it to use SMT? That must have been a ton of work.

Re: SubCon synth
Oh wow, seeing cEVIN and company release synth modules is the last thing I would expect out of them. So very cool. Cevin and the people he works with are true legends, and seeing them put out gear is totally awesome.

Re: SubCon synth
I just hope the money from licensing the designs goes to paying back all the people Plan B ripped off.
