I'm glad I didn't order one. Its like those of you that ordered are in the desert looking for water and you keep seeing it, so you run up to it and dive in just to realize its a mirage. Except for AG, he had a sip.

I don't really care. Now we have a date, and I can stop looking every single day until that date is met.
It's not really a big deal to me. I don't go into full ragemode if a computer game is delayed a couple months either.
Just means I will get it later, but I will still get it.

FYI. Went to an Arturia event last night. Rep. said first 2 batches are SOLD OUT. Taking preorders for deliveries in Sept. Just the messager...

I heard the 1st two batches will be sonically superior and forever the most sought after. This due to a change in the manufacture of the solder used in the 3rd and subsequent batches.

Guess I will be getting one from the first batch then. Store agreed to hold one for me 2 months ago
And btw guys, just because Arturia is sold out doesn't mean you won't find them in music stores. They still have to be bought from the stores too.

yeah, I feel the same. placed my pre-order three weeks ago, which could mean I'll have to wait until September, but it will still arrive on my doorstep at some point.

Played it. Played it some more. Ended up having to play it a little bit more, too. Grinned the whole time.
Hate to admit it, but AG is spot-on in his high opinion of it.
Swing on the arp was most fun!
According to Sean (Arturia rep), pre-orders should be caught up with models for sale in store by late August.
STF - you were in Chicago?

Thou shalt not have any other synth gods other than Marc.
Oh btw, damn you. I wanna try mine soon.

Marc? Who is this Marc of which you speak?
Arturia did tell me they've pulled a list of everyone on VSE and will be shipping all the pre-ordered Minibrutes through me to dole out as I see fit.
You may kiss the rings, Bitexion ...

Blue Monster 65-I went to the seminar(that's what they called it) at Far-Out Music in Jeffersonville, IN. It laid to rest the notion that I NEEDED Spark and the V-Collection. Too much other stuff in line to be used and other purchases to be made to update the studio. BTW, preordered my MB in Jan. after NAMM. I WILL use this.

Who? Never heard of him! Obviously some newbie who knows nothing. He's probably about 14 years old, right? Has a Yamaha PS-thingy? Yep. I'll bet that's it.

Were you around when the dealer hooked a Minitaur up to it? Sean told me it was just massive. Naturally, they couldn't do it publicly at Gear Fest, but ...
I have Spark and love it. Replaced a lot of drum machines I've had in the past and missed. It's NOT a DAW-wannabe or a Maschine replacement, but simply a versatile drum machine that integrates easily with other things. It's not for everyone, though. I didn't pre-order the MB, but I think I may have to pick one up this fall or for Christmas. Let us know when you get yours (along with everyone else here who's patiently waiting).

Does a MiniBrute Pre-Order from February count as vintage yet? I'm thinking of holding on to it for a few more weeks, and then unloading it for 1,500.

It'll be vintage before any of us gets one

Hipster factor = through the roof.
