Hey what would have happened if you kept it longer than 3 days? Why such a rush to send it back
That's what we call "stealing."
well I wasn't implying you could have stole it...
just seemed a bit paranoid.
When we get something for review (I review PC workstations) they are usually loaned for a defined period of time. Sometimes the loans are as vague as "we need it back in the next two months", sometimes as firm as "you can have it for two weeks" (or in AG's case, three days)

well two weeks+ is reasonable
AG didn't say how many actual days they let him
anyway, lame on Arturia's part for pressing for time for such an inexpensive product

Judging by the delays AG's Minibrute may have constituted an entire continent's supply.
I mean, it definitely seems like they have a great product, but Arturia has to be careful - this kind of crummy customer relations can earn a company a bad name, especially in the music industry.
I didn't even order one, and I'm getting vicarious GAS frustration!

I'm glad I didn't preorder one and already paid for it, but I'll be first in line to buy one at my local store when they finally get them through the door! I've struck a deal with the owner to keep one for me just in case I don't make it there in time. He says there's many who's waiting for this thing even in my modest city of 60,000 ppl.

In 5 years these will sell for $150 on eBay because everyone will want the Maxibrute with its 4 oscillators, 73 LFOs, and Thunderbolt 3.0 connections.

Speaking of eBay I just checked to see if there were any there. There was one "barely used" one so I bought it. I paid the new price but what the h**l at least I'll have one, right?

Well, unfortunately I had to sell mine to help go towards my property tax... all I can say is these units are fantastic! They sound great and has all the ins and outs that work all so well with modular gear.

Damn, people are on their second Minibrute and I haven't even seen one yet. Good video
The GAS is strong with this one.

interesting, I have the same thing going on with my Minibrute when applying LFO to the amp, though not as severe. I've no idea if that's the way it's supposed to function on this synth or not, though it did strike me as odd when I first noticed it. maybe other owners can chime in with their observations.

yeah on the Arturia forums people are having issues with their units, guessing that its not a problem making lots of units but rather fully working ones that they are struggling with, wonder if they will go ahead with their next keyboard which was mentioned in an interview that it was already being worked on

after playing around with the MB some more found setting keyboard tracking to the "off" position took care of the problem. not quite what I was expecting but I'll assume it's normal operation until I find out otherwise.
