I know they were a duo out of France, and write music in an electropop / ambient style which is the info I got from Wiki.
What my main interest is what sort of gear did/ do they use to get those really smooth, silky (near cosmic) sounding synth pads in most of their music.
Thanks in advance for Any / all input you can offer.
BTW, I feel that I'm a light years behind with most electro pop & ambient sorts of music, and naturally I hope to correct that in the near future.
Orbital was the last band that I was currently interested in, and we all know how fast they came and went.
Sad really. . . . from what I've seen, a lot of great electronic music goes highly unrecognized in the world today. I'd imagine that the underground music scene for this Genre has got to be huge though.

It's a barred spiral galaxy at a distance of 5 million parsecs. The name Southern Pinwheel is in popular usage over it's Messier designation.
makes you wonder why they picked that one though. . . Same for Juan Atkins and that globular cluster in Sagittarius.

Oh man, I always thought that was from the name of a highway in Michigan. I lived there for a year and I noticed that all the state highways where MXX. M69 starlight makes more sense though when talking about actual stars.schmidtc wrote:It's a barred spiral galaxy at a distance of 5 million parsecs.
