Slimmer and Phatter....

Post by b_u_r_d_a » Thu Apr 26, 2012 7:08 am

For the past couple of weeks I've been trying to remember what synth was posted a while back in the gear for sale section that was described this way by the seller. More so than a "certain other synth". I thought somebody might remember. It's just been bugging me. Post it if you know it. Thanks.

PHATTYS

“The Little Phatty is a true analog monosynth in every sense: it's a monophonic, monotimbral, monaural subtractive synthesizer with analog circuitry throughout. Ideal for beginners and pros alike, the LP puts every parameter right at your fingertips…

Any synthesist who relies entirely on software or all-digital instruments is missing an essential color from his or her timbral palette, and the Little Phatty fills that gap...” Electronic Musician, 2007

Unless you remember the specific post I'm talking about, I don't think it was a slim phatty. Hence them saying it was slimmer and phatter than a 'certain other' synth. That's how they posted it.

Slimmer and phatter than a little phatty sounds like a Vermona Mono Lancet or Moog Minitaur to me.
