In one these 2 clips (one is live, the other in studio) the band plays a fender rhodes piano (and on the live one what sounds almost like a mellotron ?) and also what looks to me like korg synth .
But even 4 years latter, to me it remains one of the finest use of electronic keyboards/synths I have heard.

the korg up top around 4:50 in the live set is an MS-20.

looks like a korg cx-3 in the top video. there's not a whole lot better than a nicely overdriven b3 (or imitation). could be wrong, there's a number of drawbar b3 emulations out there. like the roland one for instance (name escapes me).

I think that's the Korg BX-3 organ in the first video, you can see it another clip from the same live gig.
Aside from the the Korg MS-20, BX-3 and Rhodes, I see a Roland SH-101, ARP/Solina string ensemble, Korg Trident,
Roland Juno-60, Yamaha CP-70/80 as well as some modern keys.

I feel this tune is an excellent example of how a catchy bassline can be all the difference between a track of quality and that of boredom. There is a unique relationship at work here between a fantastic bassline that's still "relatively" simple on its own and an abundance of still somewhat simple but highly unique atmosphere in the other instruments. To say that the bass has all the character is missing all the flavor of the rest of it. But to say the rest is the best completely overlooks the fantastic bass.
the familial relationship in the music makes me very happy.
