I made a Vermona DRM mk3 demo video. I wanted to make something a bit different sonically to what was out there. No minimal techno here, mostly a stripped back dub sound with my EHX Memory man w Hazarai. It was cut from an improvised session I did in my house.

Yeah, thanks for making this. I've been interested in the DRM for a while, but it's hard finding demos where people go beyond making boring 4/4 electro beats.

Re: Vermona DRM mk3 Demo video
I saw this video when you posted it in that other thread and it's great! I've been thinking about a DRM to go with my Octatrack so I can make weird boring 4/4 electro beats and this video has pretty much convinced me it's the perfect tweakable accompaniment for a modular system. I looked at the MFB-522 and the TTA 808 modules but this has more flexibility than either. As soon as I get my tax return I'll be ordering one of these and a new modular case.

Re: Vermona DRM mk3 Demo video
Thanks guys! it's a pretty amazing drum synth that's capable of doing whatever you throw at it. I like programming it in parts, so I have one part for more traditional sounds and then program the other half in a bit more experimental way to get an easy switch between them all, because once you get that "perfect" snare, it's nearly impossible to tweak your way back without spending a few minutes. I'd say the only drawback is that from time to time, the oscillators will drift a bit, even if left on, and you lose a perfectly tuned patch and you have to go in and retune. It's a small price to pay for an amazing thing. I have a modular, but for now, I don't really have any way to sequence it with triggers so I just stick to an electribe er-1. It works so well, nothing else really interests me all that much in terms of sequencing. Maybe tonight I'll do another one of these and see if I can convince more people that they need this amazing box
