3rd Annual Dallas Synth Meet

I'm hosting another synth meet at my furniture shop.

When: Sunday, October 21, 2012. 2pm-6pm

Where: Elegant Accents, 2003 108th Street, Suite 301, Grand Prairie, TX 75050

Be sure to bring headphones even if you're not bringing a synth. If you are bringing gear, be sure to bring stands, power strip and extension cord (my power outlets are spaced weird). Hardwired and modular toys welcome.

Just a reminder: synth meet is this Sunday. The Dallas Guitar Show is also going on this weekend and is only a few miles away if you're coming into town for that.

Ima bring my modded gear: Polivoks, CS15 and TR606. The SH101 is kinda broked, so it will stay home. Looking forward to being there!
I am no longer in pursuit of vintage synths. The generally absurd inflation from demand versus practical use and maintenance costs is no longer viable. The internet has suffocated and vanquished yet another wonderful hobby. Too bad.

So I'm sure Z will post more details, but we had to cancel the meet. Copper thieves snipped the mains box wiring at the building the meet was intended to be hosted at. No power, so no synth meet. The unplugged event is far too quiet, it seems. And there just isn't enough interesting gear that runs on batteries.

OK Ladies and Germs, power has been restored and the meet has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 11 from 2-6pm.
