Bit of a long shot, but is anyone familiar with this thing? Seems to be a late '90s derivative of their home organs. There's one for virtually nothing on Kijiji, but acual info on what it can do is very thin on the ground.

Figure I'll bump this once, just in case.

Looks like a module version of their home organs, really. Probably nothing special. Technics organs use PCM sampling.
And the later 90s organs looked like command consoles for the starship enterprise. Hardly the same without the dual keybed and bass pedals, though. Then it's just another sound module.

I had a late 80s Technics C-30 organ my parents bought for me. Cost the same as a new polysynth costs today back then. Two manuals and bass pedals, had PCM samples so the rythms sounded nice enough to play pop songs along with.

Couldn't really do much with the organ/synth sounds since they were sampled.

Yeah, that's the impression I got. Someone suggested it was based on the KN1200, but didn't go into any actual details. It's a bit surprising how many "for sale" ads you can find for the thing on Google, yet no one actually seems to have written anything about actually using one. In any case I figure even at 30 bucks its probably not worth the bother. Now if I could just find something a bit more usable on Kijiji for 30 bucks, lke an Electribe....
