We were supposed to get this thread to 13 pages by the time NAMM started - got a few more posts to go, gentlemen.

My Korg sources are being REALLY closed mouth about things this year. Got me wondering what's going on big time!

I have heard that some synth companies have had issues transitioning from making musical instruments to desserts, so I'm not holding out that much hope for their first effort.

The Roland Cake-Oh-Cake was a bit of a flop, it didn't sound that fat due to being filled with lite cream.



The Moog Minifood wasn't that good either.



I think it was due to them using a digital mixer, which means the cake never gets warm enough to rise properly.

I think this analog mixer coated in gold might have helped in that department.
The labor required may have made it cost prohibitive.

600 Euros (which exchanges to about $8,042 in USD) is a very reasonable price considering the going rate on eBay for vintage MS-20's. I was expecting this thing, if it was real, to come in at a higher price point.

I expect these will sell very well.

Now let's start the "it doesn't sound as good as the original" bitching!
