worst part now is how tempting it is to preorder a mini20 instead of waiting until they're cheaper on ebay since it's an addition to my MS-10 & 20... korg's big enough i doubt they'll sell out like the minibrute did...

Really hope the full interview in the MS-20m video is posted later.

$599 is unbelievable, and maybe even crazier if there's any pre-order discounts out there. The several months of waiting will be excruciating!

DesolationBlvd wrote:$600! Cheaper than I would have imagined. I'm down to my last excuse not to get this...(Mini-keys, combined with the fact that Korg's cheaper keybeds are pretty sad)
They are not mini keys FFS!!!

Novamusik sold out last year to Kraft. Apparently the dude who owned Nova had to sell the company in a hurry, and since Kraft is also located in Milwaukee, they bought Nova and pretty much closed it down and absorbed stock and a couple of employees. It's why if you go the Nova site it directs you to Ebay auctions for some of the more esoteric stock Nova had. Eventually it will be moved over. I've heard some negatives about Kraft.

Holy crapstains.

Combine this with the new Buchla Music Easel and I'm looking down the barrel of complete financial ruin. Haha!

Had this come out a decade ago I would have been more excited, as it is I think it's cool but why mini keys? a full sized keyboard wouldn't have cost any more and the MicroKorg was cool because it was battery powered and ultra portable, this is not.

anyway, one thing I'm curious about... it has a USB port but the website states Only note messages (velocity is not used) can be transmitted and received. and makes no mention of whether the knobs send MIDI data, so I assume this cannot be used like the Legacy MS-20ic.. not that I imagine many would prefer the iMS-20 sound over it, but that still seems odd since it is a repurposed Legacy controller.

I just pushed guitar center a little bit and they said they'd offer the $75 off coupon even though korg isn't otherwise on it. Still don't have the cash immediately available (buy stuff from me, buy stuff from me!)

Sonic state NAMM demo, Nick clearly knows the MS-20 better than the guy from Kork!
