Actually, patch storage is indeed possible since each knob responds to MIDI CC. Someone just needs to write a program similar to the MTribe software for the Monotribe to make it easy to do. Also, not sure if such a thing exists, but if there's a MIDI controller that can save and reload CC positions, that could work for patch storage as well.

If the MIDI implementation chart is accurate, some knobs (such as resonance) do not respond to MIDI CC.

...Even so, I can live with that considering the cost and that sound...it sounds huge in the Unison mode when detuned...then have 4 (or more) in the poly mode through Midi pal... simply

That's because voltage controlled resonance isn't that easy to do if you want your circuit simple and cheap - you have either to "waste" one precious VCA for this or use some weird tricks like diode in PS-3100 or some single-transistor attenuator - which have poor performance when compared to simple pot.

For $150 each (actually less), they're no-brainer purchase. I think they'll be cool lined up on the back of my Jupe 4: bass, lead rhythm, drums and poly (JP-4).

Some funny maths. If 2 Volca keys (3 voices) cost 150 USD each then a new Polysix would cost a little over 300 USD, lol. OK, add some extra circuitry and options so we land at 500-600 USD for a Korg Poly-Analog.

Pity that the Volca Keys is delayed, it's so hard to wait for that candy, lol.
