I was really surprise when I realized the Korg Radias can scan the wavetable list on realtime (without having to retrigger notes). Obviously it cannot go backward and forward inside a single waveform like Ensoniq´s transwaves....
There are two wavetables on the second oscillator. 64 for synths and 128 for drums. When using them, the 2nd oscillator´s knob browses the list of waveforms. This browsing action can be assigned to the motion sequencer and tweaked with 32 steps. So literally, you can use all the wavetables inside a single patch, creating sequences with them according to the paramater values of the motion sequencer. You can also hold a note, and record the scanning process of the knob on the sequencer.
The MP7 ROM for the Emu Command Stations and Proteus romplers, specifically, waveforms 759 and 758.
These two samples aren´t actually samples, but the whole list of samples of the MP7 ROM, one after another. While holding a note, you can hear a mess of all the 1080 samples indexed.
This fast scanning process cannot be controlled like the Radias, but the start point, wich can be use to select wich sample will be played first, can be controlled by LFOs or any other parameter on the modulation matrix. kind of "eastern egg" of these awesome synthesizers...
