the JUNO 60 has to be the synth that takes you back in time...barring a JUP 8 it has to be top 3.
its a shame that the 60 does not have split keys, as i do find i love the bass patches but would also like to play
some classic brass stabs at the same time..
i was wondering what other synth you would play along with her to obtain some early synth funk stabs. ive had a JX3P but it didnt do it for me....i was watching some early CAMEO tracks.
they had a tv-1 oberheim....korg 700....and some arp....looked like they were playing the synth stabs with the oberheim...
the 700 would have only done a bass line and the arps are too sharp and nasal for a poly stabb.
what do you think.
