Late 70's/Early 80's Analog.

Multi-mode (LP,BP,HP) Filter for a wide range of sounds. No Arpeggiator.

Knobs, sliders, and switches for all functions plus patch storage.

44-note keyboard.

Seriously, get an MS-20 mini. Of the new analog monosynths, it stands apart with a distinct sound and huge flexibility at a very reasonable price (599usd). You won't regret it.

I think the best suggestions so far have to be the little phatty and mopho keyboard, both under $1000, have patch storage and arpeggiators. Ive owned both and think they would both do what you want.
