Hi,
I have a p600 with mostly non-triggering keys. If I keep pressing a key, it slowly comes back to life. But if the board sits for a while, it gets worse.
I had the contacts and rubber pieces cleaned by a reputable tech; the triggering improved for a week or two, then went back to unresponsive.
The tech said the contact board was pretty beat and worn.
Does any place (wine country?) sell contact circuit boards?
Oh, and triggering it via midi works, but no matter what
Midi keyboard I use, the notes will sustain endlessly. Sucks!

Re: Advice on Prophet600
Hi there,
contact cleaning does not work in most cases.
I found the only method that works is to apply a new layer of graphite to the contacts on the rubber strips.
I use graphite laquer and paint the contacts with a fine brush. Did dozens of keyboard with that method and no ever came back with none-working keys again.
hope that helps
cheers

Re: Advice on Prophet600
You may already know this, but from my experience the primary problem with your P600 and the problem you have with triggering it via MIDI may well be separate issues. My P600 has no problems when playing it via its own keyboard, but I have the same problem when triggering it via MIDI.
