The MS-20 Mini is 15% smaller than full-size; I doubt that there's really a difference of 1%, they probably just reused the keybed and made a typo or something.

They said 14% smaller which doesn't seem to me to be as much smaller as the MS20.
The MS-20 mini keys are 86% of the original key size. Math?

Korg spec'd the MS20 mini as 86% (i.e. 14% smaller). I wouldn't be surprised if it uses the exact same keybed.

Huh, I recall them saying 85% at the time. Anyway, I'm certain it's the same keybed.

Got a call from Sweetwater today - Whiteface Odyssey reserved!
..now to try and snag one of those Prophet 6's.

I have to admit, despite having the option for whiteface, I went with black-and-orange.

The black-and-orange looks great too.. It's a win-win either way. :thumbright:

I'd definitely go for at whiteface, all though I do love the orange-black design.

Also Automatic Gainsay recently said he will most likely get a review copy shipped over, from his "contacts in Korg".
So expect a full-on review of oscillators and filters and whatnot from him.

I also preordered the Korg SQ-1: $99.99! :)

FWIW, the MS-20 kit/SQ-1 bundle is $1,199 on Sweetwater.

The hard part is deciding whether the white edition (and 3-pay) from Sweetwater is more attractive than one of Novamusik's 'packages' for the standard.
I've been on a kind of 'white stuff' tear lately. Gotta stop hanging out at Ikea I guess.

Remember, the oldest version is always the best (the Gearslutz law) so you must get it in white and only use the Mk1 filter.

What's with this drive circuit?

Why don't mfrs just permanently overdrive everything and get it over with :lazy:

I now run all my instruments through a Fuzz Face plugged into an Ampeg SVT with torn speaker cones to get the best possible tone.
