I ran into this Sawtooth Signal and was trying to recreate it from a standard sawtooth.
Here is what it sounds like.
I tried using a formant, comb and a bandreject filter, the bandreject came closest.
I also tried running the comb through a lowpass and that worked pretty well, but not quite there.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
-Dennis
Can anyone help me recreate this saw?

hate to say it but that looks an awful lot like a Korg Poly 800 DCO.
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave
Re: Can anyone help me recreate this saw?
Actually absolutely not poly800, this is a typical Korg DW6000/8000 /slash PPG formant digital sound, you could also have something similar in an access virus or Novation Ks synth. As far as i can hear it could also be a FM synth sound.
Poly 800 sound completely different , you can hear the stacked square waves in it like in an organ if the filter is full open like here.

The POLY800, which I have been staring at leaning against my wall for some time now, has the silliest DCO on it. Why? I don't know. My mod stick crapped out and the sequencer doesn't even work on it anymore. Oh well. :/
