Pearl Syncussion Sensitivity

Post by Rumbler101 » Sat Jun 28, 2014 6:14 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know what the sensitivity buttons do on the back of the Syncussion? I did give a read of the manual but it didn't really explain what it actually does -- it just said this: "Allows individual playing style adjustment for each channel. Adjusts so that the channel trigger light comes on when controller is struck."

It seems to me that there is more to this feature than just triggering a light when a trigger is sent. Any help?

Thanks.

Is mainly to set the sensitivity of the drums to trigger. If you aren't using a drum to trigger it. Sets the velocity of the drum hit. If you aren't using drums than they aren't going to do much of anything.

So it increases the volume of the syncussion the harder the pad is hit? It also makes it easier for the syncussion to work when a pad is hit even if it's a really gentle touch?
