does the moog sub37 and dsi pro 2 both look and sound killer, yes. That being said I just can't justify having anymore analog gear but the karp oddy is all ready in the studio in my mind. If they do as good as the ms20mini and kit then it will be worth the wait. Hopefully well priced too, got to compete with behringer

Waiting to see if it shows next month at NAMM.
The Odyssey is the only synth I regret letting go of. I don't need another piece of hardware, especially one without presets and comprehensive MIDI but I might make an exception for this one

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I doubt it will have presets but it should have midi. the ms20mini did. all though no out or through. So

Yeah, as it has for many others, the Korg Arp Odyssey recreation has piqued my interest. I wish that there was more information available about it. I'd like to know now if I should be saving money for it. I have scoured the internet only to find that there is a dearth of information available about it. There are, however, a number of unsubstantiated rumors out there saying that the new Korg Odyssey will have two oscillators and a three octave keyboard.

I'd rather they build it right then meet some arbitrary deadline.

Exactly. In a year or two nobody will care if it came out now or a month ago or six months from now, but everybody will still care if they screw it up.natrixgli wrote:I'd rather they build it right then meet some arbitrary deadline.

Re: would be nice if KORG would of held onto x mass deadline
dude, I would be happy with just a pic of a prototype at this point.
and from just based off of the ms20,mini and kit, I don't see them taking something out of left field. would be great to switch filters from different versions though. That is one thing the kit has that blows the mini away. of course it's over twice as much, so go fig.

The good thing about the delay is that it's given me a chance to find a new job in time to keep my pre-order slot ;D

Re: would be nice if KORG would of held onto x mass deadline
I'm glad that it is delayed. Too many other synths I need to buy, plus I am trying to not buy any large keyboarded things until after I move.
