Which Odyssey color?

Two limited edition colors and one standard one.

The limited apparently come with colored rubber slider caps.

I owned a whiteface in the 90s, to me that is the Odyssey.

I voted white, would look better with the furniture here although any would do me, they all make the same sound

Close to a toss-up between the white and the black/orange. But I would go with the orange, even though it's the latest iteration...the labelling on the back panel is my favorite.

+1 for MK I, In another 30 years, that white will look way better than the black.

The White Mk.1 reminds me of a particular 1973 Woody Allen film. The Mk.2 Reminds me of the bad-old years of the '80's; Like a Nakamichi Cassette Deck. The Mk.3 is the only one that seems to look less like instruments of yesteryear.

I like the overall look of the white Mk1, however, the fonts and design of the MK3 are much nicer.

I was going to go for the orange and black, that is what I see in my minds eye when I think of the Arp product line in general.
But the black on white one kind of has this 'engineer's notebook' look that appeals to me.

I'm sorry, I just can't not love the black-and-orange. It looks like a Sega Master System and a mixing console had a baby.

I like the white face since that was my first Synth. One thing though is that the original white Odyssey had a Pitch-bend knob rather than the Proportional Pitch buttons. Many if not most white Odyssey's also did not have CV/Gate and some were retro-fitted later.

frankly I actually liked the ungainly looks of the originals. They had this kind of mad scientist/kitchen sink tinkerer vibe to them. The way the back case extended above and below the front of the case. The bucktooth keyboard.
But a re-issue is a re-issue. I'm more annoyed by re-issues that are slavish copies of originals, than the ones that acknowledge that time has passed.

I know the halloweiner is the better stage font and is low-light legible....BUT when i think 'odyssey' it's george duke, herbie or kraftwerk stoking a mk1.
