I think I will get that JP8 module, simply because I'll never probably see a real JP-8 nevermind play one.
I just hope it isn't like the Arturia JP8V in a hardware skin.

Kind of sucks that it doesn't have 8 voices, but that would've increased the price even more I suppose.

I don't buy this need to replicate the originals in places like limited patch storage and the original stupid way of accessing the patch banks when they are not slavishly recreating the voice count and added step sequencers that only the JX3P had (but it was polyphonic as I recall).

Online dealers advertising they ship next week.

I want to buy Juno recreation, but I'm afraid, that before I save up enough money, limited edition will come to an end (if it's really limited). Some people on GS forum, who ordered Boutiques, were told by retailers, that synths will be availible late november/early december.

It would be great if Roland just releases these models as plug-outs for the System-1. It CAN handle 4-voice polyphony. Better yet, if Roland would release a 49-key successor capable of loading more than one plug-out at a time. And if it would have better key action, you would have an 8-voice poly.

So we've got a Minibrute situation again..how do massive megacorps like Roland manage to fumble a release date so badly? I don't understand.

I may be wrong, but i don't remember, that anyone from Roland said anything about Boutiques being in shops on 1 X. It was rather date of "unveiling" the line.

Aha, probably just some triggerhappy online stores that have set a date to get the orders in first, then. Not Roland's fault.

Yup, cast your line, reel them in and earn wads of interest on all the payments received until orders are fulfilled.... What? Cynical? Me? No, never! ;)

I realize it's not Roland's fault, but I've cancelled for the time being. I'll still get one eventually though.

Everything synth is limited edition. Except the Microkorg, 13 years and running. They'll still be making those many years from now.

As much as I want to dislike them for having only 4 voices I'm pleasantly surprised most of the time while listening to the demos. Sound-wise I really like them. Maybe the JX the least, but the JU and JP sound great.
I'm not sure about the tiny sliders on the JP, though.
