Heh, that's a tough one.

My guess is that it might be a sampler because it seems to have more outputs than a normal synthesizer would have.

It is an ensoniq thats for sure. Probably an EPS16+, a TS-10 or an ASR-10.
Logos are covered with tape ;)

I think it's an Ensoniq TS-12. The models ESP16+, TS-10 and ASR-10 are not wide enough.

Yup it looks a like a 76 key synth and it is a ZR-76 or a MR-76, they both use the same rear panel.

I still think it's a TS-12. It looks pretty much identical to the one pictured here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ensoniq-TS-12-T ... rmvSB=true

The back panel of the ZR-76 and MR-76 is slightly different.

In the original picture it looks like there is no SCSI written and no SCSI backplate, that is why I persist on ZR-76 or MR-76, maybe these were taped too? I cant tell for sure.
