I've got a two-tier keyboard stand (On-Stage, but I'm hoping the brand doesn't matter). My Roland D-50 is on the top tier, and I'm looking for a good way to mount a PG-1000 programmer above it, preferably in its own holder/stand/whatever. Are there "clip-on" options for smaller pieces of gear that attach directly to stands and perhaps allow adjustments, rotations, and the like?
I'm trying to avoid the "rigged" solutions like Velcro tape or building something myself. I figure this is a common enough problem, but either my Google-Fu is lousy or there isn't a standard approach. I hope I'm just missing something obvious.
Thanks!
"Clip-on" holders for smaller gear (drum machines, etc.)

I've used the stands that DJs use for their laptops.

I was imagining something more like what this guy's got:
He appears to have both the PG-1000 and a TR mounted on something that's stable, hangs independently, but also seems somehow part of the synth rack beneath it, or at least attached somehow.

I've been looking into these as well. Thanks for the 2 links Griffin. That video looks to be a standard A-frame stand, which is bulky and not what you're looking for.

Specifically I'm looking for a way to mount it "around" the D-50 itself, so the two are directly connected, rather than putting it on some separate rig or mount somewhere else.
I actually think it'd be pretty easy to do with the laptop stands listed above; I simply need to run a couple flat planks beneath the keyboard and the underlying stand (wood, metal, whatever I can find). I then put the lower prongs of the laptop stand in between the planks and the keyboard, and the weight of the keyboard should it steady, allowing me to "hang" the PG-1000 directly above the D-50 without actually touching it or covering keys/buttons.
