Highly Liquid doesn't seem to exist anymore and the UMR2 was a great universal MIDI retrofit for matrix-based keyboards. Which is a shame.
It seems like Arduino would be ideal to DIY a MIDI retrofit though. There's loads of stuff showing how to turn matrix-based keyboards into MIDI controllers but not the other way around. I'm currently working on putting something together since it certainly appears to be possible on the platform.
So has anyone done this? Are there any resources online I may have missed?
Are there any Arduino based MIDI retrofits?
