I like the delay in the Korg AX1000G. Some of the delay is up to three seconds. My fav is the Echo Plus which is some kind of a tape echo simulation which sounds very nice. The delay alone could worth the unit admission. beside this, I like the delay of the Lexicon MPX100.

Yeah they are really analog in that sense.
I'm a big fan of the sampling on the PDS 8000, the 2 second and 8 second have sprouted several songs. Its also a great 2nd looper for things you only want for a few bars.
Have you noticed any major differences sonically between the PDS and RDS or is it just the housing? I only own the PDS units.
I have both PDS and RDS delay units and to be honest I really can't descern any difference in sound quality between the rack and pedal versions, although I do have them set up as part of a longer effects chain.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Maxon AD80 (300ms). It's a great, if perhaps a little over-priced little effect. Now, I have never used it with my synths, but it will give your guitar the meanest 50s style slap-back echo. Just in case you're into copying the Duane Eddy sound.
Art is not a copy of the real world. One of the damn things is enough.

I think I'm gonna get a Hiwatt CTE with some money I've just come into, I could probably use a tape echo.

There's a lot of bang-for-the-buck in the Line 6 DL4 pedals.
A couple of presets, tap tempo etc..
But the one thing I find stupid is that you cant have 100% wet signal in loop mode. Still a lot of fun though.
Things are not as they seem, nor are they otherwise.

after killing then fixing my Malekko Heavy Industry 600ms Dark
I have to say that I am VERY happy with the quality of the echoes and overall timbre of the device.

Make sure you usea regulated power supply as it uses a MAX1044 chip which is only rated at 10v max.

they do a bright version too.

The dark is based on the Boss Dm-2 and the Bright is based on the Maxon AD-900
