Cheap Studio Foam?
I just need a little cheap studio foam... where can I get it?
Korg Volcas / 6 x TE POs / MicroBrute / EH Space Drum & Crash Pad
Im not really answering your question, but I would like to question your question if you dont mind?
Seriously, that cheap studio foam stuff does NOTHING to help improve sound or counter acoustic problems. It is cheap for a reason.
Acoustisorb (or Tontine) is something you should look at. I've wrapped mine in a cotton/lycra fabric to make it "look" prettier, and mounted them in frames so I can hang them easily.

I forget who told me but I have a link somewhere to a cheap foam place.
Also what do you consider cheap?? This stuff was just a few dollars per
feet etc. The only real difference between the bedding stuff and the good
stuff is that the bed stuff will dry up quickly and then fall all over. The good
stuff usually last 10 to 20 years with no problems. So if you just want a quick
fix to get some of that echo or reverb that should be fine.

Try foambymail. It's cheaper than I could even get Auralex at employee discount, back when I was a gear pimp.
I'm not drunk enough to muster up a discussion of acoustic treatment, but leave mattress pads and s**t on yr bed.
