Hi,
I got a Edirol FA-101 Firewire 10in/10out soundcard, works great. I plug in 3 stereo inputs from my 3 synths. I use Live6 to mix those synth "live", so basically I'm playing midi thru live and monitoring my synths all live.
Currently I got around 20ms of latency.
I was wondering if I could buy another firewire sound card of the same type, then use the other firewire plug on the soundcard to chain the second card, without having a major latency rise. Well, is it possible in the first place?

It's possible using your Mac's Core Audio Aggregate Device menu, but you'd probably be much better off just getting another audio interface that has more ins and outs, that way you're only dealing with one driver at a time, which is much more stable.
Regarding the latency increase, it would depend on a few factors but you would probably see a small increase in latency, but nothing too bad providing your computer can handle the processing overhead.
If I were you I'd be looking at something like the Presonus FP10/FirePod and an ADAT expander like the Behringher ADA8000 (If money's tight).
