My absolute favorite phasor is the MXR Phase 100. I've posted this before, but here is a polymoog through a Phase 100:

I've heard those phasers are good. Your demo really shows it, too! The demo reminds me of Gary Numan, which is a plus for me. But it's not surprising since he used a Polymoog and flange/phaser pedals as well.

I have the Sovtek model... not sure how it compares to older ones, but it was only $30 or so, so who's complaining! I love it's sound (tho bare in mind I've never use another analog phaser)... Yes, it makes you sound instantly Jarre- esque, but maybe that's why I bought it!
The cool thing is that you can send it lower voltages to slow the speed down... I'm sure there was a SS thread on here not too long ago..

Anyone tried the DOD phasor 201? Any thoughts on DOD products in general?

I use the AUX SEND of the mixer to the IN of the SmallStone. The OUT of the smallstone in a SEPARATE channel of the Mixer. So you have the FULL wet signal and you don't have to switch cables to connect it to something else...
Imho the Smallstone sounds amazing.. but I was shocked when I tried the free Smallstone clone in Reaktor 5.1... It's unbelivable...

I use and like the EHX Small Stone. I bought it from aNaLoGman because he retrofits it so it has no gain loss. It is a one-trick pony, but what a trick!
I also use and like the Lovetone Doppelganger and ProphecySound Infinitphase mkII for phasing. They are very different colors than the Small Stone.
I am awaiting the release of the Diamond Phaser and I often think about the Moog MF-103.
Then there are the digital phaser algos - I dunno...I tend to prefer analog for phase duties.

That's true on some mixers, but you have to use a pre-fade send and you lose fader control of that instrument, and need to take up another channel with the return. Better off just putting it inline.
