Video Effects Using Audio Signal Processor?

Not sure where this one should go or not, so I put it here...
I was thinking of hooking my RCA cable from my VCR Video out into my KAOSS pad II and back out to my TV just to see what would happen, um, would that be a really bad idea?

I wouldn't be really bad, but it wouldn't do anything useful either. I've tried similar stuff before.
The video signal is digital, and the input to the Kaoss pad is an AD convertor, so it'd try to convert the digital signal, which sounds like high frequency noise, to a digital audio signal to then process. You'd still get high frequency noise on the output, but it wouldn't have a video signal any more.
By all means try it, there aren't any dangerous voltages so I don't think you could break anything, but just in case you do I don't want to be held responsible.

I tried it!
Didn't really do any Video effects persay, but I got some audio to show up on my TV screen by passing it through the KPII, kind of intresting. Check it out...

That was pretty cool, looked much better than when I put video through an Octaver pedal.
