These aren't mine, but in investigating preamping/di, I came across some comparison files online on a professional studio's website. A friend and I renamed them and did blind listening tests.
There are 7 different units in the game here, and I'm curious to see how people rank them. It's a mix of high and low end stuff.

preamps are the snake oil of the recording industry. G has a pretty decent loss of bass, i made some notes on the others but nothing has really stuck yet.

mp3 compression seems like a really poor idea for this kind of thing, i'm already suspect of their skillz.

320k isn't bad, and, at the end of the day, you can hear the differences between the different samples.
