I've searched the series of tubes and found an incredibly bland demo of the M350 on Gearwire and 2 vids on YT pairing a Korg MS-10 with an MX300:

I know I'm probably over-thinking this, as it's not that much $.

I actually did like the MPX-100, especially #6 in the special f/x bank as well as the detune patches, so I guess that would make me a Lexicon admirer on a basic level, and I had an LPX-5 which I traded for the MPX. I wish I had kept the Vortex, as it was a cool little box.

I should mention that I just spotted a TC Electronic M One for around $200, and you had said in the past that you're a fan of TC stuff?

I've got some DP4 IRs in Revolver and I think they sound really good, lots of character.

I use a TC M-One XL for verbs a lot, it's pretty decent but the original reason I got it is because they're the standard reverb in all the venues here so knowing the factory presets saved me a lot of time when I was doing live engineering. It's definitely usable but I do plan on getting something better in the future.

Thanks for the input, Stab and Tallow. I looked around and found a deal on an MX300 I couldn't pass up--$170. If I get another effects unit (tax refund?), the DP/4 would be it, as I generally like Ensoniq stuff and have read good things about it. The cheapest one I came across was $240, and that wasn't including shipping.

Why not look for a cheap DP/2 ? If you gel with it, sell that one for what you paid for it and pick up the DP/4
