Anybody a member or vaguely familiar with this forum?
It's more or less a Noise/Harsh Noise forum with quite a bit of pedal/effects related stuff. I'm just now kinda getting my feet wet with pedal exploration and experimental electronics. Weird noise maker s**t in general, I suppose.
Great DIY section modded by a guy named Crochambeau, received a lot of help with bends and mods over there.
Check it out, or not.

i know the guy who owns/runs chondritic sound, and quite a few people who make harsh noise via pedals, feedback loops, diy electronics and whatnot. that stuff gets boring pretty fast. chains of pedals are cool, and some of the techniques are certainly interesting, but i just can't take most of it seriously. i think i'm growing out of pe and harsh noise.

i think they got an interesting forum over there. a lot can be learned from those guys as far as sound creation and DIY ethics concerning their gear and record labels.
I am infected with noises in my brain, the sound of pain and it is constant. Soon I will release music so horrible that hopefully you too will be infected. Slayer, wolf eyes, johnny cash, justin timberlake f**king rock!

I'm registered on the troniks boards, will sometimes chime in on the gear forum when I have some useful advice.
I'm still into the whole noise thing after about 15 years, but I do agree that alot of it shows little to no consideration for dynamics or composition and really all starts to sound the same.

Agreed. I'm not really crazy about the sound myself.
Ever heard of this site?
Some interesting reading over there.
