so, did anyone here get one? like it? tweakability? can you edit the patterns? made a video demo of it using a synth/drum machine?
..didn't find much info or any videos showin the pedal being tweaked, and not just passively used, so any demo would be great!! I think this would be absolutely awesome for live stuff, but I won't buy one until I can see what it can do to a keyboard. And no, I can't try it in person, because out local boss dealer has all the boss pedals hard-wired to a guitar rig and refuses to take it out so I could try it with a synth...

You can't edit the patterns. Sorry, no demos of me tweaking it, just a the guitar player using it straight. The stereo modes are beyond awesome. If you like rhythmic effects like gating, granular shifting, and delays, you will like this pedal.
By the way, the Boss VF-1 has the same slicer inside.

Re: Boss SL-20 Slicer
is there a post here where you don't reccomend the VF-1?
and yeah, I used the ER-1 a lot when I had it, that's like 256 patterns, each with 2x 64 steps of input gating + delay... in fact, that is still a pretty awesome feature..
seriously, this and the ineko has been on my "ooh that sounds cool"-list forever now.. and if the VF-1 basically contains a SL-20 and tons more, I think I need one..or two... *cheking ebay*
how is editing on the VF? mostly programming fx patches and recalling them or is it like a boss pedal that you need to dial in the settings there and then?

Easy greasy to edit. Has a few memory locations, 4 or 5 or so.
I know I harp on about the VF-1, but it contains all the algos for all those insanely expensive boss pedals and fx, all in a cheap little half rack.
Anyways, I have a faulty Ineko sitting about. If you are interested, shoot me PM.
