booming bass help

I recorded bass from my ms 20 but ı couldt mix it. ı dont know how to deal with booming bass sound.
I have big issue with software equlaziers. What am ı suppose to do . should ı buy hardware eq ?

Couldn't get the D/l to work, but I am going to guess that you should pull your 20-50 Hz down a few.

That's a completely bizarre eq. There must be something seriously wrong with your room/ speaker interaction. Do you have any acoustic treatment? Maybe post a pic of your setup, with the MS20 in there for a sense of scale.

Furthermore, I listened to your recording. The amount of bass is not excessive. Here it is spectrum analyzed- as you can see the biggest peak is in the "mud" area, 300Hz:

If you don't already have an acoustically treated room and good speakers, then a hardware eq is a waste of money (and that's not an opinion, it's a fact). Get the room and speakers right first. Headphones, while good, are a compromise, and are more difficult to mix with than a well treated room with good speakers.

That said, the Roger Nichols Digital Unequalizer is probably the best eq under $500, hardware or software. That is an opinion.
