Flatwound strings on an electric-acoustic bass?
I was looking for a bass guitar sound that is somewhere between an upright bass and an electric fretless. Has anyone ever put flatwound strings on an electric-acoustic bass?, for example this Dean EAB fretless I was wondering how it would sound and I can't find any YouTube videos off the top of my head demonstrating how this setup would sound.
