Which one is the best?

The HPF is different on these two synths. Is this wort considering?

Is there any other differences exept the memory on Juno 60?

I had JU-6. I currently have JU-60. They should have the same configuration/engine. Yes, HPF, memory and control are the only things that are different. HPF is the only thing that can affect the sound creation but in real life, there is no difference regarding the sound (in my opinion).

I've had a pair of these for nearly 20 years, and the difference in HPF is so minor it's not worth worrying about.

Another difference is the VCA - the Juno 60 has an extra slider governing gain - you can use it to crank things up for a touch of overdrive, which works well for certain patches.

Otherwise they sound identical.

The extra functionality of the 60's memories and DCB interface make it more useful perhaps, but that depends what you want from a synth. You'd still need an interface to be able to connect the DCB to MIDI gear. Kenton's is bi-directional and excellent quality.

I only have room for one at the moment so my 6 is in storage. But I'll not sell it. They're very playable and using the arpeggiator is a lot of fun.

I think either would be a good buy, but consider whether the interfacing and patch storage are issues for you first.

Control - meaning JU-60 has DCB which means you can sequence it. JU-6 doesn't have that. Only sort of external control you can get on JU-6 would be an Arp Trigger via 1/4" port on the back of the synth. There is always a retrofit. But to be honest, it is cheaper to buy JU-60 in the first place if you care about sequencing.

$850 is way too much. I sold mine for $400 on ebay. I think the fair price would be $350-$450.

I also think that 850 is too much though it includes shipping, i mean the juno 6/60 is a legend but its not that much of a legend Right?

So the 60 has more and easier control options i guess.

And the HPF isnt so important afterall.

So its pretty much down to the memory and control diference, and the VCA bending.

My oppinion is that i like the juno 6 the most because its the original and the most "cut down to the bone" model, I dont think i would be missing the memory option because i like programming. And for midi i think i would rather have a newer synth that more like belongs to the midi age. The Juno's is in my oppinion analog and they should stay that way . I think i will love them for the analog sound and then record audio

But i still have to decide weather the time is for pay 850 for a Juno 6....I think its not worth it also beacuse it
doesnt have so many effects and all kind off stuff.

No, I think that's too high. You can get a 60 for $650-750, and the 60 has the highest market value of the three Juno models. $400 would be my upper limit for a 6. Maybe $450 for one in excellent shape.

Agreed. It's a nice sounding synth and all that, but not *that* nice. Though it has a fairly wide range of sounds for such a simple architecture, it's still quite limited imho.
