Hard Drives for Audio Recording

I figured now would be a good time to ask this with all the Black Friday deals going on.
Can anyone recommend any really good deals on hard drives for audio recording?

Shouldn't matter - everyone's got their own horror stories about how brand X sucks because 3 of 'm exploded. Just pick something with 7200 rpm and 8 or 16 mb cache (and even then, people did fine with the regular 2 mb cache drives).
Internal? External? Laptop? Desktop? Size or speed or both? SATA/PATA/SCSI?

not sure about size or speed, but i want it to be "fast enough" and good for lots of audio recording.
