Considering selling A6 and buy Virus TI

I'm actually thinking about selling my Andromeda A6 now and buy the new Virus TI Polar or Desktop.

I find that I'm not really using my A6 that much and I always found it quite hard to make great sounds though I have made some fine ones. Of course I like my Andy a lot but I'm thinking I would get much more sounds, textures and music out of a Virus and I can only afford it by selling the A6.

What I care most about is great sounds/patches/textures and not so much analog vs digital. But I want better/fuller sound than softsynths. I'm interested in all the digital textures/synthesis the Virus can make.
And the Virus is great sounding isn't it? I'm sure it's not as fat sounding as the A6 but will it sound too thin?
I make electronica in the style of Boards of Canada, Ulrich Schnauss, Yasume, Telefon tel aviv etc.

I play in a band so it would be great to be able to bring a virus to our jams/rehearsals.

Advice from owners of these synths is appreciated.

Well, I have made up my mind. I will get the Virus TI Desktop.
Tried it in my friends studio yesterday and it was amazing.
There are so many great patches already and they really show
what this synth i capable of. Great sound definitely!

So my Andy is for sale.

If you're in the UK, I may swap you my Ti 61kb for you A6... assuming it is working perfectly and in great condition

No thanks I'm in Denmark. I want the brand new TI2 Desktop.
The A6 is very expensive here so I might make a good deal

I'm sure you won't regret the swap. I didn't like the A6 and loved the Ti. If you want great sounds easily created, this is it.

Yeah I'm glad I've accepted that the A6 is not the right tool for me
though I was wanting it for years before I could buy it.
Now I am really (really) anticipating getting the TI.
I'm sure I'll go crazy with it!
I like experimental electronica and sound design so I'll be taking it to it's limits
