nice sampler with sequencer?

Post by vvd » Mon Mar 30, 2009 1:56 am

what samplers do you know (and recommend) that lets you (easily record and) arrange your samples to create tracks?

gear i have read about so far (but cannot really recommend, as i dont own them):
korg electribe esx-1
akai mpc
(some multitrack recorders that are way too expensive, i dont need multiple inputs or a mixer (though a level knob for each sample would be good))

i would like to get some more options from you, if possible,
thank you

The Roland MV-8000 does what you want and is a pretty good deal at the moment, you can pick them up for around the same price as an MPC1000 and they do a lot more.

yamaha SU700? If I ever actually buy a sampler this will be the one for me... It has some storage issues though.. the best you can get is the scsi expansion I think.
