Korg Zero4 vs Mackie d4 Pro vs (mixer + digital interface) ?

I'm looking for an hybrid mixer with a built in firewire interface -OR- an analog mixer and a separate digital interface. I've read mixed reviews of both the Zero4 and the d4, both of which would suffice, but I'm wondering if it'd be smarter to buy two separate units.
I'm looking for a mixer with 4+ line inputs, EQ with full kills, 2+ sends/returns. Just something simple.
For the Interface, I'm looking for something with at least line 4 inputs.
If I go the 2-unit route, I'm looking at a Mackie 802vlz3 and an Echo Audiofire 4.
Suggetions appreciated!
