It's time to add some analog fx units 8)

and as i've only read good things bout the ibanez ue 400... and as it has not only 1 fx... this might be a unit for me.

has anyone used this with synths? obviously these were built for guitars... does it do a good job with synths? any problems with line levels? how bout the quality of the fx?

thanks

?

otto made a thread about them in sound production a while back. He seems to think they are the bee's knees.

Yup, these are great IMO. I've got both the 400 and the 405. Some effects are a bit noisey like any vintage pedal would be. Considering you get 4 vintage, analog, BBD based effects in each rack for less than the cost of most new single effect botique pedals that try to emulate these types of effects, it's a no brainer. Make sure you get one with the pedals. I wanted to make rack-mount switches for mine, which I still might experiment with but when you open the pedal up there is more to it than just an on/off connection for each effect there are actually a few caps, resisters, etc for each button.
