Thank you sir! May I have another?

"I opened it, played it for 15 minutes" and then put it on ebay! I still want one, but to me, that's a glowing NON-recommendation

As much as I want to believe this is a real bargain and not a scam:

Donna-Marie's Collectables appears to either have been hacked and hijacked, or she's really a horrible seller. But since the rest of her auctions include general descriptions and at least proper selling techniques... I'd say hijacked.

Edit: For sure it's a hack job.

Beware...

I think it comes with a 2005 Nissan Altima thrown in.

You know, for that price, I'd expect the pics to be have been taken by Ansel Adams... instead, we get blur.

I just got a kick that the extra $400 over going rate is for "hott, hottt" synth sounds which are "too much and too many to name". Well you might at least try.... then I could find out what the $400 is going for other than a pack job that says "fragile, glass" on the outside.

Honestly, I think that's what the price should be for a Korg SH1000. It was the first synth out of Japan, designed for the masses and started the whole thing up, in that part of the world.

The synth itself has a wonderful sound and is easily programmed via the levers and knobs.

I have one and apart from a worn resistor or capacitor, it works perfect. It takes a few minutes to warm up and the signal path is not always strong (hence my previous observation). It's in storage right now, but once in a while I bring it out and the sound always makes me smile. I like the esthetics too.

I really should get a tech to fix those bugs (previously mentioned).

If you can find one for 3 to 4 times lower than this price, get it! Really...

edit: some grammar bloops.

Hey man, Don't diss on people's sweet, expensive packing skills. Who knows, for that extra 400 dollars, you might get an added bonus in the box, labeled "fragile, glass" (which every major shipper seems to use as the "drive your foot into the box directly at this spot repeatedly, with great enthusiasm!" label) something like a used fleshlight or something. Vintage.

At the price they are usually being sold (~400$), it's a deal. I think they are as good as those vintage synths sold at +650$.
