i swear, in the last year or so of watching craigslist for synths. have seen the top price of a good rhodes rise from ~800 to ~2000. is it just me?

A guy on the local craigslist is selling stuff like the EMU Proteus 1 for $250, EMU Proteus FX for $350, etc. I told him that was a bit absurd and he told me "They're cheaper than what it's going for on ebay." Of course he's getting his prices from one of the most egregious sellers on ebay, the house plants in the background guy (who will never seller those). I told him there's a difference between what someone WANTS an item for and what an item actually goes for ("Check completed listings for more accurate prices on gear") but he got way to confused so I hung up.
